PCC Chemax Phosphorus based products

Among numerous phosphorus compounds, PCC Chemax focuses on manufacturing phosphorus plasticizers and flame retardants used in processing plastics resulting in their increased fire resistance. PCC Chemax is a leading global producer of flame retardants, which reduce or eliminate the flammability of a wide variety of combustible materials. Our additives help stop fire before it starts by resisting ignition and slowing the rate of combustion.

Our leading products include the Roflam family of products Roflam E and RoflamP® phosphorus-based flame retardants.

The products which delay combustion are used in many industries of the economy such as production of textiles, paper, paints, varnishes, etc. However, the majority of them, almost 90%, find application in manufacturing plastics. These are mainly plastics used in the following industries: electrotechnics, electronics and telecommunication, construction and furniture manufacturing, transport and mining.
