PCC Chemax offers new technology and technical support to Oilfield customers in a variety of capacities.

Our vast product chemistries includes additives for use in oil, water and synthetic based drilling fluids. The functionality of these additives includes lubricity, corrosion inhibition, emulsification, demulsification.

The Maxlube line of products represent environmentally friendly additives designed to enhance oilfield drilling by reducing torque and drag with no adverse effect on the drilling fluids rheology. This product line consists of proprietary esters and alkylated modified esters. These mid to high range lubricants offer efficacy in high pH systems and temperatures to 300° F. Lubricants are designed for all types of mud systems.

The Maxhib line of corrosion inhibitors offer a wide range of chemistries from traditional carboxylates and borates to imidazolines and esters. Many of these products are low-foaming and offer corrosion protection from H2S and CO2 for ferrous and non-ferrous substrates.

The PCC Chemax emulsifiers represents a large and diverse product group. Many phosphate esters are included which offer additional properties including lubricity and rust prevention. Traditional esters of various molecular weight are available which are derived from both natural and synthetic precursors. Our line of specialty emulsifiers allows for the manufacture of stable products using vegetable oils, polyalfaolefins and traditional minerals oils.

The PCC Chemax demulsifiers also represent a large and diverse product group. These products are custom manufactured to our customers specifications to function as general demulsifiers or specific to the needs of the drilling operation and clean-up.

With full support from our analytical and synthesis lab, our oil field personnel can prepare, test and establish specifications for new additive minimizing the amount of lab work required by our customers.
